Digital Producer

Job Title: Digital Producer  – Web Development focused 

Salary: Competitive / Depending on level of experience  

Location: Leeds City Centre / Hybrid  

 

We are delighted to announce we are now looking for a Digital Producer to join the Perfect Storm team! You will be working within a fast-paced delivery environment, leading and advising key stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with our Freelance Partners to create work that delivers outstanding outcomes for some outstanding brands! 

 

Your Experience:  

You will need 5 years+ experience in agency project management roles. Accustomed to agency operations, the ideal candidate must have a solid background in managing web development projects and a broad understanding of the digital marketing mix. 

 

The role requires a strategic marketing professional with excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver effective management of the web development process – this means:  

  • Project scoping / collecting & understanding client requirements or taking a brief 
  • Writing technical/functional specifications 
  • Writing clear briefs for a web developer to clearly understand and act on 
  • Confident using GA / GTM or similar tools  
  • Having a keen understanding of UX and design best practises  
  • Knowledge across various CMS platforms (WordPress & Umbraco would be a bonus) to be able to hit the ground running across different types of projects.  
  • A level of technical knowledge that allows you to confidently test development projects, speak with and understand developers, whilst being able to communicate potentially complex solutions in a client friendly way.  
  • To have an understanding of how to use various tools to be effective in their role – e.g. Trello, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe XD 
  • The ability to challenge a client brief gracefully, remain calm under pressure and think critically.  

As well as the above, you will need superb organisational, communication and relationship-building skills and be comfortable with impressing senior client stakeholders, being ‘front of house’ for the agency on a daily basis.

The Role: 

As a key member of the of client team, the Digital Producer will have responsibility for leading some of the agencies key web development projects; securing and maintaining strong trusting relationships with clients, proposing, winning and onboarding new work alongside the managing partners and ensuring exceptional standards of service and delivery alongside the Delivery Director.

They will be responsible for working with and motivating our team of other talented Digital Producers and Experienced Freelance Partners to do their best work. Together they will deliver digital strategies that drive growth and success for our clients and our agency.  

They will oversee the successful delivery of those strategies, measurement and reporting on our successes and learnings. They will also oversee and maintain excellent profitability of the client accounts, and play a pivotal part in shaping the agency for growth and commercial success.
